Let’s go from Argentina to Mexico this time. That’s 7'500 Km from Buenos Aires to Ciudad de México, a very long distance that shows the massive size of the Spanish Empire five centuries ago (let’s not forget that California and Patagonia were also parts of said empire).

I watched the first Star Wars film (aka “Episode 4”) on the big screen of a crappy cinema of Buenos Aires somewhere in 1978 or 1979 (I was 5 or 6 years old).

Next December it’ll be 10 years since the release of what is in my opinion the biggest train wreck in the history of movie sequels; certainly a blockbuster worth literal billions of dollars, but in my heart and in my mind, it’s just a failed attempt that needn’t be.

The movie “Elizabethtown” is 20 years old this year, and I re-re-re-watched it again recently; it’s not a particularly popular movie, but it’s one of those that I can’t watch without having it leave a deep crater in my heart every time… It’s hard to describe.

So, the first season is out, and I can heartily recommend it. The reviews are terrific; in my opinion, the first 2 or 3 episodes are a bit slow, but the 4th to 6th are such a blast… I couldn’t blink for a sec.
